There doesn’t in fact exist another kind of tool that has such a wide variety of products for converting images to PDF. However, the 3-Heights™ Image to PDF component makes the difference between such kind of tools. The point is in the details. For example, each and all image formats should be supported faultlessly ( among others are JPEGs embedded in TIFF),color space should be relocated by embedding profiles, metadata should be converted to the XMP format and embedded equally, image data needs to be confirmed and improved as well as than recompressed and the list carries on.
PDF is PDF (Portable Document Format) is a standard format for electronic documents. PDF is very popular in the Internet – that’s because to view PDF documents you only need to have the Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer.
If your business is somehow connected with document workflow and you’re publishing any kind of documents you need a good PDF converter. If you google for ‘PDF converter’ you can see many results found. Among them you can find PDF printers, free online PDF converters or those that cost some money. The problem with free PDF converters is that they don’t convert your documents exactly as it should be. And some important information could be lost and not get a customer. So it is very important to choose a PDF converter that will suit perfectly your needs (embedded links and images, for example).
Let’s take for example the Open Office Writer tool that I was using before I found my best PDF converter (I’ll describe it later). The Open Office Writer is a desktop publisher that provides PDF export feature. It has different formatting options that allow customizing the application. All in all the PDF converting results were good when I used this converter. But the minus is that Open Office software keeps too much memory space. If it is not the problem for you then the Open Office is a very good decision.
As I’ve already mention I found another best solution. It is not free now (it was earlier but after the new release it became payable) but it suits my requirements in PDF conversion and doesn’t keep much disk space. I’m talking about Altsoft Xml2PDF converter and especially about its Workstation desktop application. It suits perfectly a small business. Xml2PDF workstation supports embedded links, images, allows using watermarks and background images. It supports PDF security options such as digital signature and password protection. It has a user-friendly interface and converts documents to PDF just on one button click. And I think the ˆ39 price is not that big.
Someone may not agree with me and find another solution for converting documents to PDF that will suit his needs better than Xml2PDF does. This is just my choice and my best PDF converter is Altsoft Xml2PDF!
